If you're looking for a modern rock band with enough pop to balance out the hard rock trend that is going on these days, Pocket Furys are it. Catchy songs. Upbeat. Music for driving on a sunny early spring afternoon in the Midwest. From Dayton, Ohio, the band placed in the top three in a recent regional band competition sponsored by a local radio station. And their independent release, Plastique, isn't bad. Pretty basic in its production, but it gives a good idea of what this band can do.
