Prosper is another great band that has come off the up-start label Bettie Rocket. These guys have a very groove oriented sound, along with laid back, gruff rock-type vocals. They aren't screamed just kinda talked loud. There are some similarities to Stavesacre here, but not too many. As far as production goes, it's top notch. Very well done, and very clean. The music itself is tight and abrasive. Of course, their heart is in the right place. For example, take these words from "Davenport":

we bow down (forever)
we bow down (in Your name)
we bow down (always)
Very straightforward. But, since I am a metal child myself, it only gets a 7, just because it's not metal. Sorry.

Recollections of Focused frontman Tim Mann come to mind as Gregg talks over the churning rhythms. The BGV's in…Similar sounding releases
