These guys know how to craft a great hook into a song. "First Timothy" reaches out and grabs you, then slows down to extol the virtues of Jesus. Hardcore worship. It's slow, but still heavy and melodic. Gregg Eilers' vocals, however, are best showcased in the rockers, like "Davenport." Recollections of Focused frontman Tim Mann come to mind as Gregg talks over the churning rhythms. The BGV's in this song provide a balance that should crossover into the modern rock scene. While not as melody conscious as Stavesacre, this band revels in dynamic swings between noise, power, and melody. It's funny, I got a totally different impression of them from their Tomfest live set (harder live), but I like this more.

Dead Zine 2000Reviewed by Hey YouProsper is another great band that has come off the up-start label Bettie Rocket. These guys have a very groove oriented sound, along with laid back, gruff rock-type vocals. They aren't screamed just kinda talked loud. There are some similarities to Stavesacre here, but not too many. As far as production goes, it's top notch. Very well done, and very clean. The music itself is tight and abrasive.…Similar sounding releases
