This is a very good disc in my opinion. Musically it is groove-metal with a touch of grunge along the lines of Stone Temple Pilots. The guitars have a massive groove with a mid-paced low-end chugging sound. The rhythm section sounds nice and thick with some punch to it. Overall it reminds me a lot of the band Torn, only not quite as heavy and with a much more uplifting message. The production is also very good for an indie release. Vocally the guy is a pretty decent singer and can not really be compared to anyone that I can think of. If the vocals were a little darker and deeper I might say Days of The New or STP... I dunno. The song lyrics deal with many things ranging from our desperate need for God's forgiveness and Salvation to praise and worship to everyday news topics like hate crimes and our first amendment right of free speech (great topic!). The lyrics are bold and evangelical. I would recommend this to fans of bands like Torn, Eloi, STP, and Faithbomb.

Other coverage for this album
HM Magazine #86Reviewed by Doug Van PeltThese hard blues/metal rockers have guts, taking an upfront stand on homosexuality ("Hate Crimes"). The vocals bug me a little, with their nasally sound. The chorus saturation effects used during the choruses help, though.
Art for the Ears 2000Reviewed by Marco PovervestThis independent CD contains ten songs with grooving metal that reminds me of some of Bride's material. Though this ain't fast stuff there's energy in these songs. There is solid songwriting. But the songs don't really shine as the sonic quality isn't as clear as I would like. It sounds too demo-ish. A better studio or better engineering might help because this is not a bad CD at all. Listen to…
