In the old days, by that I mean the '60s, an artist would release three studio albums then a best of collection and finally would come the live album. Ramsie Shick has chosen to throw that old axiom right out the window. This is her fourth release and it is already her second live project. For those unfamiliar with this Texas based artist, let me say that she rocks with the best of them. I think to say that Ramsie reminds me of fellow Texas singer Janis Joplin is not an unfair comparison. Recorded in August of 2000 in Dallas at the Door, Ramsie handles all of the lead vocal chores and plays guitar. She is helped out by Lee Milton on bass and bg vocals, Brian Marks on guitar and Kyle Denney on drums. If you like your rock n roll, red hot & cookin' then check this one out.
