Following the trend of a lot of bands recently, Saint has come back with a new CD, called The Perfect Life. Unfortunately, this is not the Saint I remember. The CD has 6 songs, most of which fall into the "commercialized hard rock" sound. And though I cannot tell for sure, the drums sound programmed, which doesn't help the overall sound any. The musicianship on the disc itself is quite good, and the production is quite good as well, but I guess I was expecting something a bit chunkier than this. For ordering info, see ad on page 55.
