Well hey there. Here's a little poem I wrote about the new Sleep Station album. I sure hope you like it...
Let me tell a story,
Of music from a band.
A band of war-torn rockers,
Who sang of war-torn lands.
Their album sounded nice enough.
It was dark, yet pretty too.
But the songs were all recycled.
Not one idea was new.
At times I heard some Wilco.
At others, Elton John.
The Beatles made a cameo,
But didn't stay for long.
I gave my full attention,
Though when the songs were done,
I tried recalling catchy tunes,
And could not think of one.
The album wasn't striking,
So I gave it just ,
Don't import this from Hong Kong,
Or else you might get SARS.
I'm not very good at writing poetry.
