This tape is great! Standout cuts are...forget about picking a few, let's say all of 'em! It's the same Soldier as their Louder Than Hell tape exhibited, but with a lot cleaner sound. Jimmy sounds like a cross between Triumph's Gil Moore and Rik Emmett. This is a tape I want to hear more than many others. Their commercial, yet crunchy sound is infectious. This tape sits up there with Paradox's Ruler as standout demos in the Christian metal underground. Soldier, who might show up on Regency Music's California Metal II, deserve to be signed. Their set at the Mardis Gras last year was explosive! At the heart of Soldier's music are lyrics calling for a true devotion to God. "Love Him Like the First Time" calls for a return to our first love and all the passion we had for God at that time. If you don't get this tape, you're passing up a glimpse at a band that, I think, is gonna be big. If you want to order this tape that I can't say anything bad about, send $7.
