Here's the debut effort from a European commercial metal band called Solution. Like the band Europe, the keyboards play a prominent role in the mix, but without wimping the song out. Guitarist Jonny Wester lays down some pretty good licks in "Footprints". "Higher Ground", the "B" side, is another good song in the same vein. Drummer Peter Westin makes his presence known a little more. Jonny Wester, who handles vocals as well as guitar, has the accent of his homeland - Sweden, which adds a little style to his performance. Overall, the band has some growing to do, but shows some potential in their songwriting. Hopefully, this band of three years will continue to rock and offer us more and more music as they grow.
