I think it's a credit to the band that I can't compare them to another, I can only try to describe their sound. They're too aggressive to be pop. They have some fast songs but are certainly not punk. I would compare their style to that of Stavesacre, whatever style that is, in a loose sort of way. Thick juicy guitars. Keep things interesting using speed changes. Having two guitarists really fills things out. A couple great emo tracks draw you in too. A # of songs start out with some nice simple gtr work and then the beef rolls in and romps. Having seen these guys put on an impressive live show, I was pretty curious as to whether they could really pull off capturing their true sound on this, their first CD, especially since they were doing it themselves. Taking full advantage of the resources they had, literally, at their fingertips they recorded in their bible school's recording studio. The finished product does them justice.
