i have honestly tried to completely enjoy the puller half of this ep but i believe the r.m. songs were brilliant. this is by far the most incredible work i have yet to hear by r.m. both tracks are absolutely genius. there is a strong mature songwriting ability that keeps every minute of the song intense & interesting. there are around 5-10 different elements or pieces to each song, all of them collaborating perfectly. each part evokes all that many emotions as well, going from a heart-wrenching eager feeling to heart-filled joy to a sombre feeling to an uplifting feeling. this is the absolute charm of r.m. they make an aggressive attack & at the same time are completely melodic & know when to pull back. puller's track 'nothing to prove' is a slow piece i have to admit i sometimes find myself singing throughout the day. there are no drums, stringed instrument & vocals only. the vocals are focused and clear while the gtr is sensitive & moving. puller covers r.m.'s 'lobbyest' except puller's version is definitely lacking something leaving it sound empty.
