the 101 can best be classified as a typical pop/punk band. Their style--as well as their songs--are very unoriginal. And to be honest, their latest CD Green Street is quite boring.
After listening to this album several times, I was at a loss of words. I was trying to decide what to say without sounding like a guy who simply hated the CD. After many long and deep thoughts, I came to the conclusion that the best thing to do would be to simply tell you what I think--I hated this album.
There were many reasons to give this album a bad rating, and I can start with the production. Whoever mixed and mastered this album should be fired. You could hardly hear the vocals at all. The second reason I hated this album was its lack of originality. In today's world it is almost impossible to create something truly unique, and it appears that the 101 doesn't even want to attempt it.
