Quiet, whispery and sweet, like Belle and Sebastian. Spacey like Honey. The best driving music, only behind Nick Drake's Pink Moon. Superb for nights of coffee, distant lights and reflection. The Billions' Never Felt This Way Before should be in any collection. It peaks early, though, with track two's "Hey Girl" stealing the entire record in electronic hums and simple, unobtrusive acoustic strums. Every song is perfect for an indie film dream sequence, and the ever persistent tug of organized background noise seems to add a full backing to the rhythms and vocals. This album is good, though slightly quirky, and ideal for quiet listening.
