The Lead
Burn This Record

Awright! Here's some hardcore to tear your ears off with. I need to mention a One Bad Pig joke here: "Disneyland is going to create a special 'Julio Room' for people who like to listen to hardcore at unbearable volume levels." This joke came as a result of the Pig playing with The Lead this fall in Charlotte, North Carolina, where they noticed Julio's affection for loud, screamin' guitars. There's plenty of those loud, screeching, scraping, clawing, and crunching guitars on this album. Inside all the heavy duty noise is plenty of good words. The Lead lets the world know that "Suicide Is a Lie" and that God can heal your Internal Pain and give you hope to "Change the World". "Skate or Die" takes the popular slogan to explain that Jesus died for us. "If you're not skating for the King of Kings/ Then you're not skating for anything." Making his debut appearance for The Lead is additional guitarist Andy Coyle, which gives the band the double crunch to fill out their sound. Thrashers will want to buy this record instead of burning it. It's way rad.
