The Suicide File has released this album, Twilight, with Indecision records. They are based out of Boston.
One of the big trends in underground/indie music right now is hard driving, quick tempo changing music teamed with vocals shouted or spoken (sometimes with the music, sometimes not). If you team up this influence with in your face old-school hardcore/punk then you might get an idea of what The Suicide File sounds like. Some bands don't have the energy or musical foundation to get away with dramatic and sometimes meandering lyrics, but T.S.F. has it in spades. The album is over quickly, but you get all the songs you need to form an opinion. If you like in your face music that hits you in the gut go check this out.
