Craw is from Cleveland and is signed with Hydra Head Records. Having been together for over 12 years, Craw no longer tours but continues to release albums from the studio. Their latest album is called "Bodies For Strontium 90."
Craw plays a twisting, stop and go version of hard rock. Their music is a lot like the mostly attitude driven "hard" rock on the radio but a bit more angry. As the shallow stuff on the radio lacks a spark, so does Craw. The lyrics are ridiculous ramblings that might have been written as the band rode to the studio. One need not sacrifice good song writing for a chaotic song structure, but apparently Craw does not know this. The only redemptive quality is a good recording. Unfortunately what was recorded is objectionable. A very forgettable release.
