Over the past year there has been a lot of buzz surrounding the Rock 'n' Roll Worship Circus and their unique take on worship music. While many pretenders claim to be making rock or "alternative" worship music, most of what is out there is just a rehashing of standard worship tunes with a bit of electric guitars thrown in for good measure. But the Rock 'n' Roll Worship Circus, and now their friends, The Tremolo Cowboys, are doing something truly unique.
With their debut release, the band makes a statement with some serious indie-rock worship. Standout tracks include "You're My Jesus," "You Alone are Worthy," and "Your Great Love."
But while this band can rock out, they will probably appeal to a wider audience than the Worship Circus, since their music is a bit more laid-back and accessible. Not quite as daring with music that is just a tad more rootsy.
