Tre 9 has been in the game, lurking in the background, ready to add his 2 cents to the industry. He decide to bring in some veterans to his project to help spread his message. Pettidee, Geno V, Stikk, Lil Raskull, Soulfruit, Da CLICK, and Col' Cutz bring a nice mix to the table. I hate to say this, but I don't care who you are, if you are the only person on your album for 15 songs, I usually get bored. It's cool when you get to hear some collab. Tre 9 brings a smoothed out vibe to the ear, while still relating the dangers of the world. There's always a battle in circles about being "too preachy" or "not preachy enough." I have to compliment Tre 9 on finding that hard to find balance. You could throw this album on to Christian or unsaved, a difficult trick to pull off. You can see many influences from many different styles, yet Tre brings these elements into his mix, instead of sounding like an emcee who jumped on the wrong style. I dig it. The cover is pretty ill and fits the concept, but why am I getting flashbacks of "Prince of Persia" on the Sega Genesis? Rappers in the sand?
