How this beautiful piece of sonic waste has been ignored is beyond me. Better Late Than Never was a long time in coming by an old but now defunct punk rock band called Scum of the Earth. What you got here, kids, is some stank-nasty rock and roll made by guys who never gave up the war (well, obviously they eventually did, but you know what I mean). Not as hooky as Sex Pistols, or as violent as Ninety Pound Wuss' second LP, but certainly just as messy and defiant of all that is music.
