Now this is metal at its best. Crunchin' guitars, brain splitting drums, and great, aggressive vocals. This "project" by vocalist, guitarist, and bassist John Johnson and drummer Jason Campbell really shows off their talents. Its not thrash or death, its not classic metal. Picture the current speed of Deliverance with the intensity of, say Mortification, and you have a good idea of what Valley Of Bones sounds like. The production on these ten songs is a little bass happy, so turn that down a little. Even former Killed By Cain vocalist John Warren backs up John on "Total Aggression."
