Owned and operated by Jason Dunn, drummer of No Innocent Victim, Facedown Records is proving to be one of the top record labels in the hardcore scene. With countless labels springing up over night, Facedown stands out from the pack with a strong commitment to its bands, great distribution, and solid releases.

This CD reflects the impressive roster of Facedown Records; home to bands such as Ceasefire, Overcome, Figure Four and many, many more. There are 11 songs of aggressive music served up as a taste of the newest releases springing forth from the Facedown head office.

XDiscipleX A.D., of Triple Crown Records makes a guest appearance and finds themselves in good company. Ceasefire's "Shift to Simple" is probably my favorite song but it's a close race.

Other bands that are sure to get you out of your chair are Dodgin Bullets (a composite of several other bands), Point of Recognition, The Deal, and Torn in Two. This is a great CD and the price is just as nice. If you're curious about what Facedown is all about, picking this up is a great place to start.
