The best hard rock cuts on this alternative-dominated disc are: "You're the Reason" by Last Generation; "Waiting" by the female-fronted Crossfire; "Life in a Bottle" by Zero Hour, with its King's X harmonies near the end of the song; and "Jesus is the One" by Messenger, which is the best cut on the disc, reminiscent of Y&T.
