Yes, Valentine's Day was in February, but love is always around. The punks on this CD don't want you to forget that. Listening to this CD filled me with pink fuzzy feelings of warmth and the desire to jump in a pit and mosh with carnations and candy hearts in my tender grip.
Bettie Rocket bands that participated in this compilation include Noggin Toboggan, War Rocket Ajax, Freeto Boat, Face Value, and Sick of Change (Scott Silletta sings back-up). Other bands found on this include Screaming Giant artists Jesse and the Rockers and Officer Negative. Chicago-based Grrr Records bands are not going to be left out, so Left Out and The Blamed jump in with their own lovey-dovey songs.
Whoever said that punks are rude, callous and mean need to listen to this CD. Whether the bands are singing about girls or God, they are filled with lyrics to make a girl swoon. That's important, right?
This is a great CD for your collection and would even work as an "I'm sorry" gift to that special someone you forgot at Valentine's Day or for your anniversary. Whatever. It's a good CD. I recommend it.
