Not to take anything away from four and five member bands, but there is something about a three piece band that sounds this good that really grabs my respect. Brothers Stacy and Sean Bowman, on bass and guitar respectively, and Greg Rinaldi, Jr. make up one seriously tight Death Metal unit. Vocals, also taken care of by Sean, are very deep and guttural, yet still intelligible.

A lot of pure metal riffs come pounding out of this tape, backed by some very high quality drumming, and smooth bass lines. A few death growls really add tone to the songs they are used on as well, such as the ending of "Wings Of A Nightmare."

This demo has some of the best quality production I've heard on a demo tape, it's amazing to me that this was recorded back in 1994 and this band is still unsigned. All I can attribute this to is the decline of the popularity of metal that surfaced around this time. Now that metal is starting to regain its popularity look for Vindication to get more exposure, that spot on the Massive Frequency Overload compilation will help I'm sure.

Lyrically there is nothing to complain about either. The songs are closely woven with the scripture in mind, and three of the four songs have the actual passages the intended message comes from.

This tape is worth owning, these guys really pound out some fantastic metal sounds. From slow bone crunching songs to faster onslaughts this is the well rounded band without a doubt.

Heaven's Metal #50Reviewed by Jeff LottI haven't heard a release sound this good in a long time. For starters, the production is incredible, pretty close to album quality. Secondly, it sounds as if these three guys practiced the four songs here non-stop, because they sound really tight. "Out In The Cold" starts things off with a gothic appeal. Other songs, like "The Sin Factor" and the title cut, "Exhume The Grave," show off the…
