    Huntingtons formed in the Maryland-Delaware area in 1993 and built their first records around short, fast punk songs with buzz-saw guitars, tight drums and an unmistakable Ramones fixation. The early material paired that sound with stories about adolescence: crushes, bullies and awkward attempts at staying innocent, while "Allison's The Bomb" and "1985" showed how easily the band turned specific images into hooks. Their move from Flying Tart to Tooth & Nail in 1998 brought Mass Giorgini's cleaner production to High School Rock, but the basic attack remained simple and brisk. By 1999 the imitation had become unusually exact, down to Mikey's lead vocal. Get Lost made the mid-tempo songs more melodic without abandoning the speed. Songs in the Key of You then softened the edges with keyboards and more personal songs.

    Cliffy Huntington left in 2001 to form The Reaction, and the band replaced him for the tour supporting Songs in the Key of You. Mikey's writing had shifted the group toward more personal pop-punk. The initial run ended in 2005 with a final show at the Cornerstone Festival. A 2007 reunion in Maryland led to a part-time continuation, and Punk Sounds followed in 2009 with rarities and two new tracks. Original drummer Mikee had returned for the 2001 sessions, but later lineups changed again. New original material appeared with ¡Muerto, Carcel O Rocanrol! in 2020. The band re-recorded its early Ramones covers as Back To Ramonia in 2021, then issued a split with The Travoltas in 2022. A live album followed in 2023.
