This four-song demo gets the Van Halen sound-alike award of the month. While the quality of the tape is still lacking, flashy guitars are the strong point of the project. Allegiance delivers a hard-driving, club-rock sound which ought to do well in original-music venues. Lyrics are sometimes trite, sometimes creative. Overall, Allegiance needs to determine what they're really trying to say in their songs. Despite the fact that there are only four songs on the tape, they are all real, real, real long. So, you get your money's worth.
