Oh my gosh! I've been listening to demos all day...and here's one that's screaming through the speakers!!!
"The Only One" begins this 4-song tape with a bang. The production is professional, with plenty of clarity. The guitars are nice and prominent in the mix, as are the vocals and drums. This is commercial/pop metal with crunchin' and wailing guitars and gang choruses.
"One Of A Kind" doesn't let up in energy at all, communicating a godly love song. Check out these lyrics: "A gentle girl who really cares/ About herself and the friends she shares/ The purest love the Lord put inside/ My respect for you I cannot hide/ You've got a smile as bright as the sun/ At night I pray that I'd be the one/ That the Lord has given you/ Now I praise the Lord for my prayers have come true."
This is good commercial metal, a genre which has always done well. A flood of bands are cashing in on its popularity right now: Kiss; Winger; Warrant; and Bon Jovi.
"Crazy For Love" starts off with a sassy guitar lick and a booming drum...then a fun-filled holler breaks the rhythm and sets the pace for a party/fun song. It tells a story about a girl who's crazy for love. She lives looking for love, but doesn't look to the Lord. The song tells her that Jesus loves her more than anybody else could and that He's crazy for her love too.
