Here is a band from Atlanta that shows lots of promise. I was pleasantly surprised at listening to the four songs on this tape. The production is way above average (turn the bass down just a tad), and the band shows a lot of talent.
Lyrically this band is quite bold. In "Survey Says," they take a shot at Metallica: "You say enter sandman, well I say enter God," and in "Condom Song": "My Lord is stronger than a condom, ain't nothin gonna bust through Him."
The band is tight, going through several time changes without missing a beat. They only get thrashin' on one song, "Man I Once Knew," and then it's only at the end. And the vocals, while aggressive, fortunately don't come out sounding like a chainsaw which seems to be big nowadays.
