I like this mixture of progressive metal, thrash/speed drumming, and classic metal guitars and melody lines. I would have to say that this band shreds. Each instrument is handled with skill and precision. The vocals of Ty Cook are perfect for this style. While some may balk at metal being churned out in the new millennium, don't tell these guys it's not in style, because they perform it well enough to shut up any critics. Take my word for it, if you're a fan of technical, power, progressive, classic, or even melodic metal, you will salivate over Antithesis.
