The first band I thought of when I put this album in was Less Than Jake. Big D and the Kids table is basically a Punk-Ska band similar in style to Less Than Jake, Operation Ivy (for their sometimes "rappy" vocals) or Five Iron Frenzy. As I listened to this CD the one thing that kind of set them apart from the aforementioned band is their use of horns. The horns are all over album. Very bright and full horn sound present on most of the songs that are on this CD. They do a good job at the shared vocal thing. Both singers have their somewhat unique vocal stylings that lend nicely to these tunes. They definitely showcase more musical talent than most bands in this genre. If you're down with the whole Ska-Punk thing then there should be any reason for you not to check out Big D and the Kids Table.

They feature two singers and a solid band and an okay horn section to back them up. They aren't quite as good as some of the other Asian Man ska bands (Chinkees, Potshot), but they're not all that bad either.
