Diehard cave-dwellers, weekend sewer-workers, strollers of the catacombs..., an underground band finally pokes the tip of its snout up to the surface...! You are going to be able to stuff your underground full, given the long thrashian "sighs" that BLOODY CROSS's barker lets out, seeming to come straight up out of a pit!! In reality, it is the Teutonic roughness of this German Thrashcore band that gives this demo its personal and so "deep" "accent". The duty "cashier" (on drums) spoils the effect not at all, so damn well do his rhythmic effects resonate, in synergy with the cavernous bellowing that rises from the hoarse gullet of his screamer companion.
As for the bass man, his personal merit is to create a sort of swaying from the top of the vault, perceptible in certain tracks ("God Hates It").
Otherwise, the lead guitar man allows himself some very jazz-blues guitar embroideries which recall CORONER in certain respects. The influences, as much classical as punky, of this chamber orchestra... of echoes (!!) make up all its technicity, which nevertheless still remains to be refined. Besides, the sound is not mega (as if one could ask absolute crispness of a noise from beyond the abyss!!) and the singer's vocal technique does not allow optimal hearing of the message, very hard-hitting, all in all. The vocalist moreover embarks on a sort of dialogue, in "Fire", which cements the demo's originality nicely. A great deal of sincerity therefore, and of talents buried in these thrash potholers, whom the de-crypting (!!) fanatics will be able to follow, confident, in their descent... to the gates of the Celestial Kingdom!!!

Heaven's Metal #21Reviewed by Doug Van PeltHere's some more pop/rock disco. Ha! Just kidding! You know what it's like by its title. Edgar Bich screams the vocals in true thrash style with urgency. The music rockets along at breakneck speed, propelled by the quick drumming of Markus Hauth. Real thrash metal with gnarly vocals. A couple standouts on this 4-song tape are "God's Love & Rage" and "Fire", both of which are on side 2. "God's…
