Clay is four piece band from Anna, Illinois that musically is best described as aggressive metal with punk influences. The tape is full length with 11 songs, and the production is just a tad above average.
Lyrically, some songs are well written like, "Your song must change/come on turn the page/I know life is in demand/let me sing you a song about a Rock and some sand" (from "That Song You Wrote"). But others have no value whatsoever and even border on morbid like, "Father, I lost my foot inside the lawnmower/ are you gonna love me or scold me for dulling the blade" (from "Reputation").
