Brother Spike Nard and company enter into the major release scene with their debut release, "Humane Society." The album is opened by a cut called "Process", which describes how people of this world are progressing and destroying each other. Crashdog has an East Coast style of Punk Rock, that is best described in the lines between Murphy's Law and The Dead Boys (Spike's vocal style reminds me of the late Stiv Bators). "Humane Society" has a couple of surprises, like bagpipes, and even a song penned by Glenn Kaiser ("Bloody Lane"). As a music listener, I really enjoy Crashdog. Their lyrics and basic garage-style Punk really sets the pace of this effort.
