i can't say i'm too knowledgeable about, nor do i really even like, rap music after about 1990. so, this is kind of mellow 90's hip-hop (with that sort of dust brothers stoner-friendly production) by a bunch of white guys from canada. i guess a lot of the lyrics are meant to be goofy/funny, but they're pretty much goofy (in that bad way)/retarded. i'm sure they put a lot of thought into the band name as well. ah yes, the song titled "hot water music" had nothing to do with the band of that name, which is kind of a shame, because that would have been about the most interesting thing on the album. and i hate hot water music. oh yeah, there are like 6 guys in the band and only one person writing the lyrics. what the hell is that about? man, this is a pretty long review for something i didn't spend more than 5 minutes listening to.
