Another re-release of classic metal, back from the time when men were men, guitars tuned to E (what else?), and "Christian metal" was both.

The self titled album, in my opinion, is pretty mediocre. It's a young band that likes to play fast and has some good songs. Indeed, there really are some strong songs on here! Witness "If You Will", "Blood of the Covenant", or "Temporary Insanity". Many songs aren't as strong, however. In addition, the vocals too often move into the annoying falsetto scream that makes me think Stryper decided to thrash. Take what you will from this disc, as to me it would just be a bonus anyway.

Weapons of Our Warfare is what you're paying for here. A delectable speed metal feast with all the trimmings! Thicker guitars, more appetizing vocals, and a full menu of tasty tracks makes me want to come back for seconds. There's probably not a whole lot here that you haven't heard before, but it's done better than I've heard elsewhere. This, my favorite Deliverance release, takes Anthrax or Annihilator at their best and snaps 'em in two.

Hey, like the other KMG double disc re-releases, this will cost you between $10-13 brand spankin' new. Weapons. . . was one of the best $15 I ever spent, so logically. . . .

Heaven's Metal #21Reviewed by Michael BloodgoodThe first time I ever heard of Deliverance, I was upstairs at the Whiskey in L.A. getting ready for our show and, right up above the window of the dressing room, was their sticker. I immediately liked these guys because I have the same "habit" of putting a Bloodgood sticker in every dressing room we've been in. If you love those little guitar interludes during the breaks between videos on MTV's…Heaven's Metal #20Reviewed by Doug Van PeltWhoa dude! The Deliverance album kills! This stuff crunches like sandpaper, yet has hooks that grab ya for keeps. Jimmy Brown's vocals are melodic, passionate, and understandable! If you liked "Attack" and "A Space Called You" from the Cal Metal album, you're gonna be in for a huge surprise! These 10 tunes are much, much better. Where Vengeance tackles the Slayer sound, Deliverance just totally…
