Ryan Sims, Joey Venters, and Cory Mayfield are Denver, and they recently made a great EP called Anatomy of the Heart. As much as this will not sound complimentary to some, their music is like a Goo Goo Dolls or Foo Fighters with teeth and more emotion, and it works very well for them. Denver's lead vocalist can sound like Jeremy Enigk (SDRE) and Eric Collins (Denison Marrs) at times, but is not trying to cop their gigs. Denver's only important shortcoming at this point is in their songwriting. For example, some bridges drag on way too long, for no apparent reason, to be appropriate to their contexts. Nevertheless, this EP is a good find, and their future looks promising.
