Hello Mr. Gotee! Once again DJ Maj returns with Full Plates. Hailing from New York myself, all rap scholars should know, it ain't hip hop without the DJ. Deejays have set it off for thousands of years (didn't you catch the hieroglyph with the dude and the 1200?) and helped many aspiring emcees reach the next level. An allstar lineup, mixing and scratching, and the famous Gotee production team, you're sure to have a winner. Guests galore reign on this project. From Grits, Corey Red, Ill Harmonics, Sup, Pigeon John, Skillspinz, and more. I was particularly impressed by the 4 way stop featuring a roundabout of djs controlling the crowd. This album definitely out maneuvers the first offering from DJ Maj (which in my opinion was more of a compilation than a mixtape), bringing the true essence of a mixtape. Get the CD if you have an itch that needs a scratch.
