What do you get when you take some of the freshest emcees in the game, and mix it up with some top notch producers (Mario C. of Beastie Boy fame, Will I Am from Black Eyed Peas, and the innovative De La Soul master Prince Paul)? Even though they hail from the West Coast, they bring a Jambalaya mix that will have a French Cajun yelling "whoooweeee, dem boys dere nice and spicy. Hot!" Joey the Jerk, Sharlok Poems, J. Beits, bTwice, Uno Mas, CookBook, Flynn, and Pigeon John spark the mics on this one. Shake hands with DJ J-Boogie and the omnipresent Noah the Manager. This is not your garden variety hip hop, baby. Oh yeah, bring a stinkin' neck brace if you catch one of their live sets. Neck snappin' galore. www.microckers.com -- Join the street team and win a date with Cookbook!

What's a rap article without throwing some shout outs to everyone and their momma. One love to Erika, that kid in the front row at the lowrider show in San Diego who gave me the bird (Jesus Loves You!), my ex pets, and Steady B.
