the artwork from this cd totally matches the tunes, same vibe, feel & over all expression. metal with plenty of gtr solos [metal with some blues licks], basic drums. alot of variety & contrast in the songs, with a lot of interesting samples and clips of different people speaking [examples: jimmy swaggart, children, etc], animals, choirs, symphonic tunes, chants etc. etc., all used very effectively to make various points to the meaning of the songs. all the music is done by Tracy G and lyric/vox by burrito. only 2 8 ball cholos. 1-7 min. instrumental. for me the vox and lyrics really stand out, being totally to the point and from the heart/gut. burrito is pissed off with false preachers, hypocrites, satan and what the church has become. he don't mix words. the vocals are kinda more screams/talking than singing, cool inflection, with the emotion of hXc, very desperate, excruciating and with anguish. sometimes deep and guttural, sometimes with effects. personally i'd like to see this stuff done as hXc instead of metal but these 8 ballers gots to do what they know and like.
