this cd was recorded a year and a half ago, suffering through the flying tart financial plague. here are 6 brilliantly written pop songs, with a hefty influence from british shoegazer music, such as blur and adorable, and occasional indie rock bands, like archers of loaf or velocity girl. fans of noisy guitars and melodic vocals, these songs have melodies that will force you to keep on singing along. dave barbee from sugar re-mixed 3 of the songs here. in the same league as luxury or starflyer, with an intense live energy. this band was incredible in their heyday, being invited to play the cmj showcase in new york city and courted by some big-time major labels. that's why this is only an ep. a high quality project, especially for a relatively new band, that will leave you wanting more. however, the band didn't survive the waiting process, with many members joining other bands, more notably, their former drummer now drums for spinArt artist dunebuggy. hey, we interviewed them for the first iss. of garlic press ...
