Furthermore is Tooth and Nail's hip-hop duo. The Utah duo is back with their second record in four years entitled "She and I."
Furthermore is somewhat of a cross between the Beastie Boys and Run DMC with backing female vocals. They definitely have an East Coast flavor to their brand of hip-hop.
Like their debut album, "She and I" also has one really memorable song. This time instead of "Are You the Walrus?," it's "Letter to Myself." Despite Furthermore's attempt to mix it up with different backing music, only "Going Somewhere Fast" experiments with the rhymes.
What's strange is that this album is not on Uprok Records. Fans of hip hop may enjoy "She and I," but otherwise it's just downright obnoxious.
