Halo
Halo

Remember the excitement that spread across the scene when Idle Cure's debut album hit the airwaves? Here's a band with identical talent. Halo is smokin' hot. They come screamin' out of your speakers with a polished commercial/arena rock sound that should reach a broad audience. Maximum energy with minimum distortion (guitar-wise). They're skillful in their craft, taking you slowly with them on an altar call-type ballad ("Soul Searcher"), and then jetting you right back up again with a rousing rocker ("Lord of All"). Several cuts here will probably see A/C radio airplay (that's "adult contemporary" for those of you not entrenched in the radio field). "Deny yourself, take your cross and follow Him" is the message from these Spirit-filled musicians. High quality power pop for the faint of heart and the rocker.
