After a long organ intro, we're introduced to Metallica in their garage days. This trio is tight, and they deliver some good material. One thing that stands out in the mix is a good drum sound. The guitars have a thick tone that's perfect for thrash. If you like thrashin' tunes with plenty of hooks, understandable vocals, and never-ending jams...Immortal is for you. Scott Albert, the drummer and vocalist, belts out urgent lyrics about the consequences of not receiving the gift of God's eternal life. The band jumps in for beefy background vocals in the choruses.
