Here's a smokin' hot, professionally-packaged custom tape with some wailing, progressive power metal. Vocalist Danyl J. has a soaring voice that is showcased well amidst the fast guitars (played by Danyl), drums, and bass. Stuff in this genre by independent artists that sound this good don't come across my desk too often. These guys rock! I love this tape. "Sand of Time" is a really cool story that adopts the "Footprints in the Sand" poem with the story of the writer's anguish without Christ and the pain of losing a friend due to drunken driving. It's an awesome tune that travels the gamut from quiet reflection to gut-exploding passion. The screams here are welcomed necessities. "Midnight Excursion" is a fun, thrashing rollick for all of 36 seconds. Scarlet Rayne displays cool harmonies. This is a must-have buy. Available in cassette and cd! Fans of Barren Cross and Sacred Warrior will freak. To order, send $8.98 for tape; or $12.98 for cd to: Kiss Productions, W250 S4461 Center Road, Waukesha WI 53186.
