Rick Elias and the Confessions

Caesar Kalinowski introduced me to the music of Rick Elias at GMA '89. Both of us like Dylan-ish, gut-level acoustic rock, and Caesar was saying, "This guy is the best. He's so talented, it's incredible." I listened then and I agree. I've since seen him live, heard his debut album, and agree wholeheartedly. This guy breathes passion and so does his band. They're tight, rockin', and real. The depth of the songwriting here would make ole Zimmy proud. Rick bares himself. The only way I've been let down by Caesar's boasting is by the fact that he didn't sing "Louie, Louie" with Rick at his GMA '90 performance. Broaden your horizons and touch your soul...get Rick's debut album (and every follow-up release, for that matter).
