This is one of Solid State's first (#6 to be exact) and it is a very important one at that. There is no amazing music here, just heavy, crunching guitars and blasting drums, but it's very technical and played very well. There are only 4 songs on here, but all are high quality. The production is good of course because it's on SS. The vocals are very distinct and very high pitched, but fit into the music well. The band has broken up, but the drummer and guitarist are in Project 86. When I listen to Drawing Black Lines, I can hear the Innermeans in it. There are a lot of heavy breakdowns in this EP which sometimes slow down the fast paced music and enhance the musicianship of the album. Overall, this is great for hardcore fans that need a break from the norm.

This band has an amazing talent that I personally have been missing for quite some time. Not only are the vocals good the musicians are just plain awesome. I think that it is great that these musicians don't hide behind their vocalist. They come right out and kick you…Similar sounding releases
