Attention all guitar instrumental fans! Put your collection aside, because here comes Jeff Scheetz with his loaded 6-string, and he's here to stay! Jeff's latest effort, affectionately entitled "Woodpecker Stomp", begins with the title track catching your attention right away. Not only does Jeff show his well executed expertise, but the boy knows how to get down and funky with the best of them during "Get Busy". (Does Arsenio's Posse have an opening? Hmmmm.) Jeff is backed with one very rock solid rhythm section, featuring: Kent Burnham on drums; Lance Logan on bass; and Bill Westfall on keyboards. These boys play with taste, feel, and really enhance and compliment Jeff. Jeff tops off the CD with a rippin' version of "Amazing Grace". This will definitely be a part of my collection!
