The album sleeve, first of all... The three guys of JET CIRCUS are in a car park, in the middle of the night, an evening of wind and fog... Three big bikes, black leather and destroyed jeans... Ez GOMER has put his foot on a human skull... And JET CIRCUS invites us to do the same, since that is the meaning of the album title "Step On It"... Are you willing to enter the universe of JET CIRCUS? Yeah? Then off we go...!!

From the outset, it is clear, it is clean, it is flawless: JET CIRCUS is really a different band. Different in the atmosphere, different in the sound, different in what comes off these three tousled Swedes... If I had to choose one word to describe JET CIRCUS, it would perhaps be "Joyful"... Besides, they put you in the picture right from the start with "Step On It": "Great news!! It is sensational, believe me: Life has won, and death has gone. Joy will never leave me." And this joy, JET CIRCUS is ready to communicate to you!! And everyone who knows JET CIRCUS will agree that when you listen to JET CIRCUS, it lifts the spirits of a whole battalion!!! These guys are incredibly packed with fun!! So they do not hesitate to take you out for a ride on horseback ("Rockin' Horse", where it is once again a question of joy to be brought to a world in suffering... "We come on horseback to talk to you about the Kingdom... And I bet you like that, my boy...!!"). It is often a question of dancing with JET CIRCUS ("Victory Dance", "Rockin' Horse", "Let's Dance",...)... And even the only song that began sadly ("Train": a guy decides to leave his wife) ends in the joy of the return.

Musically, even if JET CIRCUS does not consider itself a heavy metal band, the fact remains that JET CIRCUS uses nothing other than drums, bass and saturated guitars, and hyper metal vocals...! JET CIRCUS is side-splitting rock'n roll, hyper joyful, and anti-conventional. Here, listen to "Victory Dance": it is metal fused with rap!! We are very, very far from what Terry HAW and Ez GOMER were doing with LEVITICUS, in the days of "Setting Fire To The Earth"...

It would take 15 pages to describe JET CIRCUS: it is a style, it is a breed, it is an atmosphere,... "Step On It" is a symphony for guitars, bass, drums and a half-mad singer (and oh how talented!!)... Let us call it: "Symphony of Fun". JET CIRCUS enters from today into the great classics of Christian metal (which our descendants will bring out again in 3 or 4 centuries... Who knows?...). It is up to you to enter the Arena of the Circus...! Fun guaranteed at 777%... Ah, but by the way... How is it that these guys are in such high spirits? The answer is to be found in their lyrics. "Step On It": to be got hold of as a matter of the greatest urgency!!!!

Adonai Metal Rock #3Reviewed by Daniel BaillodTranslated from the original French Har har...!! I am still laughing about it, these three Swedish white metallers are that hilarious!! Not a gloomy bunch at all, JET CIRCUS...! Not only is their rock'n roll more than joyful, but on top of that, they allow themselves to write lyrics that make complete sense...! We are certainly a long way from the era of LEVITICUS and their "Setting Fire To The…
