It seemed like the highest echelon of Christian industrial died when Circle of Dust and Argyle Park disappeared. But then along comes Klank. Some will complain that this CD is rather derivative of the heavier Circle material (it is after all, Scott Albert doing the programming), but it's certainly strong enough to stand on its own. In fact, this is easily the best CD I've heard in the past year! Very aggressive, both with regard to the guitars and the vocals. Daren Diolosa packs quite a load of emotion into his singing! Nine Inch Nails? Wimpy! Fans of purer electronic sounds may find all this a bit too much, though, given the strength of the metal influences. Still, it's totally a top-notch release and if you liked Circle of Dust at all, you will like this.
