From the beginning strains of "My Feet Are On The Rock" from the Flevo Festival in Holland to a rousing rendition of "Country Church", which was filmed in a church, this video is filled with quality footage that's pleasurable viewing all the way through. Some really warm and honest clips of Larry, his wife, and child show up, along with some clever color artwork--creating an up-close and personal video, making it an ideal companion for the album of the same title, which was the flavor of that album. Every song from "Home At Last" is covered here, including all the short little vignettes. Larry's vocal performance throughout is good. The first few songs were filmed at the prestigious Flevo Festival with Sweden's Q-Stone as the competent back-up band, which also included saxophonist Dan Michaels (who plays with The Choir), and Larry's brother Charley. There was some good rockin' that night. The rest of the video was filmed in a medium-sized church with a black choir, band, and orchestra backing him up. Ottobootzman's Beki Hemingway makes a cameo appearance, singing the female lead to "Letters To The Church". Although a unique setting for a rock performance, the video's only weak points come in the church footage. The scenery gets tiring at times visually, while the musical performance remained good. The song "Here Comes The King" has some less-than-the-best camera angles of the choir's feet, microphone stands, and the stage floor. Overall, the video acts as a good documentary slice-of-life look at this portion of Larry's life and music.
